North Korea tells United States it WILL give up nukes - DAILY NEWS

North Korea tells United States it WILL give
up nukes NORTH Korea has told the United States it
is prepared to give up its nuclear weapons in a huge breakthrough. The world was on the brink of nuclear war
all last year as North Korean leader Kim Jong-un repeatedly tested missiles while threatening
the US with annihilation. But in a massive change of heart, the regime
has now said for the first time that it is prepared to discuss the denuclearization of
the Korean Peninsula when Kim meets President Donald Trump, a US official said tonight. The US and North Korean officials have held
secret contacts recently in which Pyongyang directly delivered the message of its willingness
to hold the summit.

Speaking on the condition of anonymity, the
official said that until now, Washington had been relying on South Korea's assurance of
Kim's intentions. Denuclearization of the Peninsula would mark
a huge triumph for Trump, with him achieving what numerous Presidents before him have failed
to do. As recently as last November, the two countries
have been trading insults and threats, including Trump warning the hermit state not to "test"
him. He tweeted at the time: "NoKo has interpreted
America's past restraint as weakness.

"This would be a fatal miscalculation. "Do not underestimate us. AND DO NOT TRY US.".
